Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Oh Boiler ("Oh Boiler", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Oh Boiler is a writing tool that stores reusable templates with named variables and helps you fill those variables per recipient. The Service includes browser extensions, a web editor, optional AI fill assist, and integrations with third-party email and productivity tools.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: using Oh Boiler to send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) in violation of applicable anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL), attempting to circumvent rate limits, reverse-engineering the Service, or using the Service to generate or distribute illegal, harmful, or harassing content.
5. Your Content
You retain full ownership of the templates, variables, and recipient data you create or upload to Oh Boiler. We do not claim any rights to your content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
6. AI Fill Assist
When you use AI fill assist, the prompt content you explicitly submit is sent to the AI model provider you select (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google). We retain no copy beyond your variable history (which is visible only to you). Model providers process the prompt under their own terms; we link to those terms in the model picker.
7. Intellectual Property
The Oh Boiler platform, including its design, source code, brand, templates we author (separate from your own), and Service infrastructure, is owned by Boilerplate Studio Inc. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
8. Subscription & Billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Annual prepays are eligible for a full refund within 30 days. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial months on monthly billing.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, appropriate, or suitable for your specific use case. You are responsible for reviewing every filled-out template before sending or distributing it.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boilerplate Studio Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
11. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with reasonable notice where practicable. Upon termination, your data remains available for export for 90 days before deletion.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before they take effect.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.
